I’ve just picked this up, I’ve not flown yet it so can’t vouch for the quality but it looks really nice from what I’ve seen and read, and for the 50% discount price of $22.50 I thought it was worth a punt.

Thanks jon b, I got it as well and gave it a quick spin. First impressions are fantastic, looks great and one of the few X-Plane developers that got the sound right.

There are actually two models on sale, the developer's original F-16C model and their newer F-16D model (two seat). I got the D model, seeing that I already have the DCS World F-16C and Aerosoft's F-16C for FSX, plus a two-seater just "feels" better in a civilian/training sim. The rear cockpit in the D model looks different and is perfectly modeled here.

There’s another 24 hour 50% off sale on the F16 right now (28 October) in case you missed the first one.

It’s a very nice aircraft, and an absolute bargain at this price.
