October 18, 20214 yr Hi, this part of the forum doesn’t seem to busy but figured I’d give it a try. I have some Logitech panels, honeycomb suite etc and I am throwing the idea around of building a basic sim pit panel. I’m looking to see if anyone purchased a pre-built panel template where I would be able to mount and install my hardware into, something similar to a c172 looking type, doesn’t have to be exact could be a generic template as I will use it for multiple aircrafts.. I’ve found one company that offers this but looking to see if anyones bought something similar and from where? P.S I’d make my own but I’m not a good carpenter whatsoever, so would rather purchase a pre made template…I know my limitations. October 18, 20214 yr Why not buy some MDF and cut one yourself? Would be much cheaper ATP MEL,CFI,CFII,MEI. Type Ratings B-737, ERJ-190,ERJ-170

October 24, 20214 yr I used an online Aluminium cutting service to design and have my panel cut professionally. They let you enter dimensions and cutouts and then they deliver it to you. It was 80 € or so. It turned out great. I think this the most cost-effective way to get something that looks professional if you don’t want to cut it yourself.
