October 19, 20214 yr Pt 4 crossing the Highest Continent in the world.... This is amazing to me because in every other sim all we've ever had at the poles was those horrid squares of white texture. This was my first time heading this far south in MSFS and I was blown away as I crossed from Marambio to Rothera how detailed even Antarctica was in the sim. It finally feels like the highest continent in the world! Ominous day leaving Marambio let's hope it's better @ Rothera! Tough to tell what's a cloud and what's a mountain! Those are clouds... Wait, those are mountains, let's double check our charts... Yep, definitely a mountain, climb power please... It's awe inspiring down here... And to think tomorrow we will be over the red sands of Africa... In case you can't tell I'm fascinated with watching those old motors 🙂 One of my favorite shots. The end of the continent next stop Rothera in the Sea Ice... Hmmm... Is that front sitting right over Rothera? Yes, yes it is, time to double back, we will try again tomorrow. Yep, Cloud layer right down to the surface layers, we aren't getting in there today. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

I think that is why flying at the poles could be so difficult. Everything looks bright white. I suppose that is how Snow Blindness comes about as well. Finding the airfields was an incredible challenge in all honesty. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
