Need help locating the Scenery/NAME/texture folder on F...

Featured Replies

I used a batch file to reduce the size of the textures in my FSX/Scenery/NAME/texture folder some time back and have since lost my backup of the original textures. Does anyone know which FSX DVD and CAB file would contain the NAME folder so that I can restore my textures without reinstalling FSX? Thanks Martin

Hello Martin,Files on the original disks are no longer accesible. To restore the files, use the Repair function - load the DVD 1 and choose Repair instead of Uninstall. If for some reason this does not work, then remove the textures and try Repair again.Best regards.Luis

Thanks for your quick response.I did run the repair function before due to another issue and the reduced textures were not restored to default, however I will try it again with the textures removed. Martin.

It probably sees the file names and thinks the original textures are already present and do not need to be repaired.Move the reduced textures to a folder outside FS and try repair again.
