Disable Automatic Altitude Reporting?

Hello,

Can't quite find a description of this in the manual or here, but my GTN 750 turns transponder altitude reporting on above ~40 KIAS automatically.  Is there a setting or option to disable this?  I didn't think my 750 previously did this but I could be wrong, been about a month or two since I've flown with the 750.

Hi,

I'm sorry for the delay.

IIRC, I believe this is the way the GTN is supposed to work: it automatically turns on reporting so that you don't have to.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
