Unable to set frequencies manually with MSFS 2020

Featured Replies

Hi,

When using MSFS 2020 with Pilot2ATC, I'm unable to set any frequency on either com radio while running Pilot2atc. I can't even swap between frequencies.  When I start Pilot2atc, connect to sim, validate and file, I have to swap from the atis to clearance delivery via the Pilot2atc program..  Even though I try to enter the frequency into my jetmax USB comm, then swap, Pilot2atc changes it back to the atis frequency.  The frequencies are displayed properly on the Jetmax comm radio.  I have all assist options set to Off.  When flying with P3Dv4.5, I'm able to set any frequency and go back to the active frequency with no problem.   Any ideas?

Thanks,

George

Pilot2ATC does not change frequencies except if you have the Copilot set to do that and a frequency change is directed by ATC.

I suspect one of the may MSFS ATC options is still turned on.  Here's all the ones you need to turn off:

Options -> Assistance->Piloting->AI Radio Communications (ATC) - OFF
Options -> Assistance->Navigation Aids->Route & Waypoints - OFF
Options -> Assistance->Navigation Aids->Taxi Ribbon = OFF
Options -> Assistance->Navigation Aids->Landing Path - OFF
Options -> Assistance->User Experience->ATC UI Panel Open at Start - OFF
Options -> Assistance->User Experience->Show Message Log in ATC Menu- OFF
Options -> Assistance->User Experience->ATC Voices - OFF
