Cessna 172 G1000

Featured Replies

Trying to fly the 172 G1000 and the aircraft bobbles too much as if there is turbulence but there is not, so not sure what could be causing this.

Hello Walt.  It is random turbulence injected into the sim.  Some people like it  (I do ) but some do not.  Apparently, Asobo enhanced the wind gusts in the last update.

You can probably turn it down by going into the time and weather icon (top of screen), then clicking on the wind icon at the bottom.
You should then be able to turn down the gusts, and even alter the wind speed if you want.

Be aware that if you are flying close to the sides of hills and mountains, you will also get the updrafts and downdrafts just like real life.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
