May 9, 200620 yr Hi Guys,Are any of you guys looking forward to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots (MGS4) on the PS3? And are any of you looking forward to the PS3 in general?I'm a very big fan of the MGS series since a very long time, and of course I'm very much looking forward to the release of MGS4. A brand-new MGS4 trailer was shown today at E3, with amazing previews of how the characters and game environments will look like.Regards,

May 14, 200620 yr Author Commercial Member .....Snnnake! I only finished the first one. This series has always been on the cutting edge of real-time graphics. If for no other reason, I'm looking forward to MGS to see what's possible. The ps3 is pushing the number of processor cores...which is also where PC processors are going. My limited understand is that we're going to see PC core numbers increasing much like we saw for clock speeds. In any case the rendering techniques you see in MGS today will eventually find their way into products like FS. High Dynamic Range, Ambient Occlusion, Normal maps, real-time shaders
