Place it atN33 47.887 W118 19.028Don't bother with a formula - use graph paper!!triangle.JPGRegardsJim

Thanks Jim. Perfect fit!!Regards,Abe

Would this method depend upon:(1) Me passing Geometry in high school, and(2) Remembering any of it 40 years later?:-)

Youch no way would I use graph paper or mathematics. :)I would slew in the sim at 1/4 sim rate, and "eyeball" the exact midpoint.I haven't yet encountered a situation where I needed more accuracy than that.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2310 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 2.5-3-3-8 (1T), WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian case

And of course, it all depends what you define as the "center" of a triangle. Have a look at http://mathforum.org/pow/solutio44.html for other solutions to this problem....:>)- Skydrift
