Pre-flight Events: Boarding

Featured Replies

Hi, could you make it possible to manually adjust the boarding time (so only the door closing part is affected)?

I use PACX and it determines how long it takes to load passengers depending on the number of passengers. I would like to be able to push a button to close doors when PACX boarding ends. Usually, PACX boarding takes 10-15 minutes longer than FS2Crew boarding. I would assume this is also of interest to SLC users.

Two ways I can think of making this work:

- Add an option for infinite PFE time. Essentially, the time between the end of boarding and the event just before extends indefinitely until the user commands end of boarding. I'd assume this would be the simpler option.

- Add ability to set remaining boarding time, and have it update in real time.

Unfortunately, PACX has limited options on changing the boarding time.

I understand that this is a very specific request.

Not totally sure I follow.  On the FS2Crew FBW Settings panel, you can disable door control for the Pre Flight Events.

If I'm following you, I would uncheck door control in FS2Crew, then just open/close the doors manually whenever desired.

Cheers,

I meant end of boarding when I wrote doors closing, so that’ll include the FA asking if we are cleared to close and disconnecting the jetway, just so the FA comes in and the jetway disconnects in sync with PACX finishing boarding.

I guess its a tiny thing and not that big of a deal, just that tiny little bit of immersion

BTW I do love the new feature of automatically connecting and disconnecting the jetway.
