November 16, 20214 yr Asobo JU-52 modern gauges vs.(realistic) gauges: manifold pressure (booster pressure) gauges are beneath the rpm (upm) gauges. Upm is Umdrehungen pro Minute = revolutions per minute. 1.0 atmosphere is 30 inches of mercury. Each 1/10 atmosphere on the classic dial is 3 inches of Hg. Modern: MAP gauges (inches of mercury of manifold pressure). 0 to 30 to 45 inches. Redline 38 inches. Classic: Booster gauges (atmospheres of manifold pressure). 0.6 to 1.0 to 1.8 atmospheres (18 to 30 to 54 inches). Redline 1.3 = 39 inches === ==== By the way the funny B (4th letter in this German alphabet) is the same as 'double s'. So that character on the dash panel is the same as ss. So, you can use ss in a German to English translation utility. EinlauB is Einlauss (intake pipe) AuslauB is Auslauss (exaust pipe) KompaB is Kompass (compass). November 17, 20214 yr Hi Fielder, if you are interested I may correct some things (using writing rules valid for Germany) : - the letter ß (that superficially looks like B - please don't use B for it) basically is a sharp s like in "mess" and can be written as ss, too. But only when it follows a short wovel, so the word Fuß (= foot) can not be written Fuss! It only exists in lower case, because no German word begins with a sharp s. It has developed from a combiantion of old German s and z. The pronounciation hint in your graphic is wrong and must be "ess-tsett". - the hints for Ä, Ö and Ü in the graphic are not helpful (they are umlauts, but are certainly not pronounced this way), and should be "ae" like in bear, "oe" and "ue" (afaik no english word with such a sounding). Regards!
