  1. Took a flight from Rotterdam via Den Haag to Amsterdam, and was very pleased. Photogrammetry was especially sharp in Rotterdam - even PG wind turbines or high voltage pylons were in a recognizable shape, which was a first for me. They also introduced some new autogen types (typical churches, greenhouses and row houses with those typical gables). Just the live traffic ships in Rotterdam harbour were off as usual, and some addon seems to conflict there too.
  2. I just use the MSFS exposure slider to make the night as dark as I need it. Also depends a lot on your display type - mine is a plain no-HDR LCD display that technically can't show real black.
  3. Much better would be that Asobo realizes that this mod has to be included in their base data and remove the rural road lighting altogether. That would help all users and make exclusion unneccessary.
  4. Looking at that seemingly endless list of fixed bugs and more or less visible glitches, one indeed might think "what a piece of *** was that game before all those fixes". However, we should not forget several things: MSFS 2024 has a huge number of default aircraft and other streamed assets - compare that to e.g. FSX! So, naturally a list of fixes can be longer as we have much more choices. They mention every little fix in detail there - a lot of them could have been summarized like "fixes a and b for the following list of aircraft..." They really fixed a lot of annoyances, what was not the business model in the 2000s and 2010s - then we were lucky if any service pack arrived after one year or so. I aggree that FS2024 was released premature, but what we got now really shines and we got 4 not too bad (yes - flying EC135 is a lot of fun now!) make good aircraft for free. I enjoyed FS2024 from the first day - looking at the good things instead of searching for problems is key nowadays in a much less than perfect world.
  5. For all community addons on your PC you would still want to use AddonsLinker. Especially for beta testing it is very convenient.
  6. What do you mean with "right click on the Bijan folder"? I only have access to version 3.1 with date 29-08-2025. Where did you get a version dated 23-09-2025?
  7. Long video with short message - keep the contol settings linear and increase extremity dead zone to effectively reduce the physical range of movement of the control surfaces. This could work for aircraft with a really high range of control surface movement that would nearly never be needed, and if you are flying in calm air. BUT it can be very dangerous in situations where you need full deflection: let it be the nosewheel in tight curves, the elevator during extreme gusts or with center of gravity settings at the edge of the allowed range, or rudder on a twin with one engine out. Let alone aerobatic aircraft where you will need full deflection. So to me this seems not the best cure for all control problems, especially if your flightstick produces spikes in the input signal. BTW, hardware settings are inaccessible in beta 4 for now.
  8. They said, scenery data in FS2020 and FS2024 should be largely synchronous for the world hub to make sense (as the improvements made by users have to be checked by staff and then go online for all users, ideally they should affect both versions). That said, don't expect edited airports to be on thew same immersion level as handmade addons - at least in the first version of world hub, only the airport layout could be changed, no scenery objects (like hangars and apron clutter) could be altered. I hope, that we'll see the new world hub still in 2025.
  9. No, Sir, to all questions! You would have to change each airport within dev mode. Eagerly awaiting the reopening of world hub for FS2024 to be able to correct such things.
  10. Wow, I have to admit that I never used this replay feature as I assumed it to be even more buggy than the rest of FS. 🤔
  11. Thanks for asking, but sure, unzipped. In other aircraft the GTN 750 shows up correctly. It's version 2.2.49 already.
  12. I got a blank (white) display of the PMS 750 in the A2A Comanche. Could it be the same problem?
  13. I have this too, clearly a newly introduced bug in SU3 beta. Fixing it seems up to Asobo. For now, just export your working profiles and keep fingers crossed that they get it sorted.
  14. Are you in Beta 3? And it seems to be a good idea to post problems in the MSFS forum for being noticed by the devs.
  15. Interesting find. Are you participating in the beta 2?
  16. Sorry, Guenseli, I don't have an icon to click on below the last sentence of the rules. Instead, it shows a text, that I have no rights to send messages on this channel.
  17. Got it, tried it - much fun for the money!
  18. Same here, seems to me like a new bug introduced with latest patch. Pre-flight checklist now starts with "correct controller profile loaded" 😁.
  19. Let's say, FS2024 has a lot of potential ... among others to drive one nuts. 😁 My approach not to run into Asobos evil madness trap: just trying out the various things that work (got Premium Deluxe, so a lot of aircraft to be tested), and avoid the most buggy parts (no career for me now). As I have a new rig, going back to FS2020 would require me reinstalling that stuff - not for now. Still too much goodies to explore. They'll fix the most broken parts and we'll get aquainted to the rest. 🙂 Don't want to ruin my days with grief about a game, as real life is full enough with stuff to get mad about.
  20. I also had this phenomenon. Tried the Bell 407 with which I was able to hover and land reasonably well. So it might be a special problem of that 125. Trying all the choppers is kind of a pain as the sim crashes more often than not when downloading the new package.
  21. Yesterday I tried the very nice Sea Star on quite rough waters near Keflavik airport (which is quite atmospheric) - and wow: what a difference to 2020. Water physics is impressively better - aircraft reacts to each wake, bounces during early landing phase and tilts on the waves once settled. Also the wake and spray effects are plausible.
  22. Not impressed - this kind of stuff (volcano aside) I see every day looking out of my window. 🤣
  23. I tested the alpha with my current MSFS hardware: i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 32 GM RAM RTX 2070 Super with 8 GB @ 2560*1440 1 GB SSD Seetings were in the upper range, and though I did't measure the framerate and it probably was between 20-30 it was fluid and nicely playable.
  24. The whole fuss in this thread comes from one guy who said yes it does, based on a stripped down tech alpha. None of us knows if the alpha really used the new FS2024 live weather data (might have been new server infrastructure, but FS2020 data - who knows). Also, ground conditions that rely on the weather of the last 2 hours are not soo easy to implement. Sure, it should not dry up after 15 s during the game session, but if implemented right, there should be puddles when at the session start there's no rain, but 30 mins before. The same with snow... So, I assume they were considering that and decided to postpone it until the infrastructure for past weather is there.
