September 8Sep 8 Be warned, this is a rant. This morning I started a night flight with the Inibuilds A310 in MSFS 2024 for the first time ( I had used it extensively in FS20 before with no issue and a lot of pleasure), all flight prep went well, pushback "on time" from the gate, the tug is disconnected and goes away, I gently applied thrust to taxi, errr well... I tried, tried again... no way the A310 was solidly stuck to the ground - even with full thrust...Parking brake off: checked, chocks removed before pushback: double check on the EFB, no conflicting hardware settings: checked, did I miss something? Checklist once more from scratch, no item missed.I restarted the flight from the runway this time and could taxi normally on the runway. The mystery goes on!Internet investigation to see if the Inibuilds A310 has a parking brake issue with MSFS 2024, zilch!Until...Until after yet another restart from the gate, I checked the plane from the outside view and noticed that all chocks were in place even after pushback!!!Evidently, I did not know that (in MSFS 2024) they had to be removed while doing the walk around since there is a click spot for that in the EFB and they were shown as removed - and removing chocks is not exactly expected from an airline pilot! So there you go, Inibuilds does not intend to correct the problem, that's for Asobo to do it according to them. Next time you walk around your A310, don't forget those chocks, and if your immaculate uniform gets dirty, send the dry-cleaning bill to Inibuilds... or Asobo! September 8Sep 8 You can bind the SHIFT+C key additionally to "quick preflight" - when entering aircraft, all red stuff is taken away. Problem solved.

Problem solved.Thank you, I was aware of this and implemented it, however the latest update in FS24 settings released last month allows to avoid the Shift+C stage, that's why that step vanished. The point is that chocks are not removed by the EFB although it says so on the tablet. Another disturbing item is that GSX does not detect those chocks and performs the pushback normally. Hence even more confusion. Edited September 8Sep 8 by Bernard Ducret Bernard CPU = 12900K / GPU = Nvidia 3090 VRAM 24 GB / RAM = 64 GB / SSD = 2 TB 980 PRO PCle 4.0 NVMe™ M.2,

September 8Sep 8 It's the same on their A330 IIRC. The clickspots are also notoriously difficult to hit on the walkaround Creator of: Realistic Pax & Cargo (RPC)For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

The clickspots are also notoriously difficult to hit on the walkaroundIt's not that they are difficult to hit or click on, it's the matter that when you do, they don't do anything! The consistency of how click spots have been implemented also sometimes feels quite random. On the A330 , IIRC the clickspot to remove the chocks only can be performed at the MLG and not at the nose gear. For the Cessna C172, the rudder click spot works at the back of the plane but the elevator click spot right next to it doesn't do anything, even if it turns a different color.
