23 hours ago23 hr Good morning.Just wondering if anyone of you came across this Mod ?Flightsim.toAtmosphereMod: Experimental Haze, Sky and Cloud Lighting...✓ For Microsoft Flight Simulator: Patches MSFS 2024’s shaders for a more physically accurate atmosphere: haze, sky, clouds and weather. AtmosphereMod is an experimental ReShade add-on. Curious about your thoughts on this.Carsten Carsten U

23 hours ago23 hr Yes, I'm using it for some days. While it's surely still not perfect, it has a much better haze, and also several aspects of the clouds are looking more natural. I think it is a good freeware alternative to REX. You can change the settings in the EFB, it can be uninstalled with one click - so just try it out.
14 hours ago14 hr Todays addon added some more fine tuning for stratus cloud shapes - just right for the season. And it can be combined with the new "cloudsurf" addon (also on .to) that adds a sense of really rushing through the clouds.
5 hours ago5 hr It needs a bit of tuning, but the reaction from a lot of people here (vibe coded slop that makes things look worse) is just baffling. It's really good... i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea

3 hours ago3 hr I second Cloudsurf available as freeware on flightsim.to. I downloaded it yesterday and have now done 3 flights using it. It gives you that wispy 3D cloud affect detail as you fly into the clouds. You even get a little bit of cloud vapor around the wings. It is one of the better utilities I have tried in the sim and I have tried many. It is only on V1.0 so no doubt improve as time goes on. You do have some user settings including some advance settings that are optional. I just left mine set on default. The developer is working on a lighting affect while flying in the clouds but this will take some time as it is not an easy affect. Overall it works pretty well. I do get a bit of performance degradation but it not all that bad. I imagine on a newer and faster machine it will be hardly noticeable. I have not tried the AtmosphereMod yet but have downloaded it!Flightsim.toCloudSurf: fly through clouds - MSFS Add-on - Flightsim.to✓ For Microsoft Flight Simulator: CloudSurf enhances cloud flying in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 by adding visual cloud puffs that move past your aircraft, providing a greater sense of speed and i
11 minutes ago11 min For some reason the installer doesn't add the mod to my EFB - and I don't see any errors on install. This is MSFS 2024 7.1 (Marketplace). I have Reshade 6.8.0 (full) - and that's been working OK for months.Any ideas, folks?
