I am learning to fly Just Flight's PA38 but do not know how to Turn On the GNS 530. Just blank screens (Yes I am using the tablet on the RHS of acft).

Same with aircraft equipped with PMS750.  Just a blank.

Think I need help 🤔

 

Is this only in this airplane?  Or are you having trouble with the GNS in others?

Try the Dakota..

First thing to try would be to toggle the avionics power..

Thanks for answering this. Aircraft that do not display nav screens include PA38 as well as the following:

Cessna 310, Carenado CT210n, PA28 Arrow III, PC12, C182Q and the F33A. In all of these aircraft, the AP also does not work.

And yes, I have toggled the avionics off and on again. 

Other aircraft are OK and have a gns installed (Eg C182 RG and BN2).

It seems I need to install the GNS530 and the PMS750, but from where ?

The GNS530 is native to the sim and does not need to be installed, the PMS750 can be found here: https://pms50.com/msfs/

Have you tried the Dakota?   Strange that some aircraft would work and others not.. 🫢

If you are using addon third party liveries with these a/c, suggest you try just using the standard default liveries. In general, when having problems it is often best to get as 'basic' and 'addon free' as possible, and then debug from there.

I got a blank (white) display of the PMS 750 in the A2A Comanche. Could it be the same problem?

Just to be sure, you are using the latest version of the PMS GTN750, ver 2.2.48, and you unzipped the download so what you have in the Community folder is not a zip file but just a file called pms50-instrument-gtn750?

Thanks for asking, but sure, unzipped. In other aircraft the GTN 750 shows up correctly. It's version 2.2.49 already.

Turn it on. Turn up the volume (top left of the unit.) The GTN750 comes on automatically.
