November 26, 20214 yr I had the quiet responses issue that others have posted about when using the beta. For me, the problem seems to be that I enabled the "Speech Recognized Tone" option and it had a volume of 1. The output volume is set to 1 whenever speech is recognized and the tone played, and it is not set back to the previous volume. The volume will be set to whatever value I put in the config, not just 1. I'm using windows 11. I haven't gone back to the official release to see if it happens there. I don't think I had the tone enabled there. Mike
