November 27, 20214 yr Hi simmers 😉 Now the Connie landed within our MSFS i did some first try`s with this old Lady and to say i love this classics birds. But she isn`t easy to fly but also to say the whole thing is still under development so the systems still need some work - but IMO at least flyable. Still have to learn a lot with that Lady.. cheers 😉 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.

November 27, 20214 yr Great shots, I bought her too, what a pleasure to fly her. It's very different from the DC 6, which is a marvel in itself. As you said, she isn't finished yet, but the potential is definitely there. I'm just glad that those planes are available at all in MSFS. Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

December 2, 20214 yr Wonderful shots of the Connie...!! pmplayer: You will not believe this coincidence...🙂...I've (actually) had the pleasure of visiting (and seeing the interior of) that TWA N6937C (37 Charlie) ...seen in your shots...it's now preserved at the AHM (Airline History Museum) in Kansas City, MO. When I'd visited that museum, years ago, a (former) Connie Captain/Volunteer had shown me around the interior. I was early on a Saturday and was the only one for the guided tour.... (You can see (RW) pictures of it by vising the AHM website) ... After my visit, I'd sent a paragraph of my impressions to the "Letters to the Editor" section of Airways magazine, and they published it...🙂 ...this plane was literally saved from the jaws of the scrapper...I'll always remember this Connie... BTW, here's a line from that AHM website that has always stayed with me: "Crew members became convinced that the aircraft has a soul, because, in their words, “The further she got away from the junkyard, the better she flew!” Thanks for posting pictures of it from the virtual world...looks as good as real...!
