It was just too frustrating, esp in VR. Now it‘s nice, but there‘s still room for improvement. I‘m currently en route from Basel to Corsica. North of the Alps the night lighting looked very good but in northern Italy there were some ugly sepia mask patches, eg in the Aosta Valley. I‘m now descending into Figari. Apart from that small blemish it‘s been an amazing flight so far. Scenery, lighting and weather can be absolutely breathtaking. Now I just hope that I won‘t mess up the landing as there‘s quite some gusts around the airport according to metar. Edit: Touchdown was smooth but then, just before turning into the taxiway, I hit an invisible obstacle and crashed 🤬. Night lighting is indeed looking just as good up here as it has been since SU6. (I can’t comment about the Alpha I’m afraid as I wasn’t invited).
