Hi Lads

Just a quick question.. I have latest MCE version 3.9.4 I think it is, and the latest GSX version running P3D 5.2, I've never had an issue when using MCE or GSX (by button), but Now I'm trying to get it working with MCE.

If I say - Cockpit to Ground, I get "How can I help, what do you need" etc along those lines, but If I say "Start Boarding, Board Passengers etc" I get no response. I have a PTT button set on my yoke, which works perfectly when talking to ATC, no PTT to talk to Clive / FO, and GSX works with no PTT

Am I missing ssomething? I've looked in the MCE guide for AES / GSX and tried just about every command but nothing happens

I run P3d v4.5 with MCE 2.4.9.2

Just tried at EGHI (Orbx) with Mjc Dash 8.

I use GSX 2 (with the passengers)

After aircraft sim has fuly initialised.

I ran a Vox Script with following commands;

"simon request boarding"

Cabin crew open all doors"

But you can use voice commands and same will work.

"simon request boarding"

Cabin crew open all doors"

All works OK.

Try GSX Live Update. This gives you all the latest! Latest works with P3d 5.2 as well as my 4.5!

Once aircraft has loaded, boot MCE.

You should see the GSX menu as MCE is loading.

Also remember to wait until aircraft has fully loaded. Initialisation on Mjc Dash 8 takes a couple of minutes! Same on the QW 787.

Cheers.

As Charlie130 pointed out, all commands for ramp agent interaction start with the ramp agent's name.

Also, you won't be able to communicate with him/her unless he/she comes aboard, which only happens when engine are see in OFF state.

Go to <Sim> tab in MCE user interface and check it's showing (on ground, no engine running).

If it's not the cae, report which plane you're using.

Yes and also you may start boarding with GPU or APU running!

But as Gerald states, not main engines! But you all know that!

Also need to wait for full aircraft initialisation before loading MCE!

Ive just looked back into the Mjc Dash 8 Q400 in P3d V4.5.

After bungling about in MSFS for a few months, (INOP...INOP Function not enabled) I think its time to return to an old friend.

MCE with the Mjc Dash 8....QW 787...PMDG...! GSX 2...!

Glorious!

Just run the flows;

Aircraft Power Up With APU

BOARDING FLOW

Before start flow

Start engine #2

start engin#1

After Start flow

Before taxi flow

runway entry procedure

before take off flow

after take off flow

climb flow (glorious flow with power levers et to perfect climb settings!...well done MCE)!!

in the cruise

descent flow

approach flow

landing flow

clean up flow/ after landing flow

Parking flow.

deboarding flow/aircraft services at gate...(calles Simon and GSX to de-Board)

Now...thats a simulation!

Best Regards

David

A simulation if you ask me?
