Pushback Express Exception 22 error in Line mode

Featured Replies

I was hoping you could help with a problem I get when I use line mode.

When I click on the 2 arrowed line to toggle the distance marker on screen I get an 'Exception received: 22' error message.

Do you have any thoughts what this msg is please.

Many thanks

In your Community Folder, do you see "fs2crew-simobjects-pbe".

I suspect you don't.

The installer should have put it there automatically.

Did you manually move your Community Folder?

I got it working thanks. There was no  "fs2crew-simobjects-pbe" in the community but I have the Steam version where the Community folder is installed to  "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community\"..I Found "fs2crew-simobjects-pbe" in the install directory within Programs(86) folder and simply copied the one with the Json files to my community. All working now thanks

But our installer should have done that automatically for you.

It should have transferred that folder to your Community Folder.

Have you ever had an issue before with 3rd party programs not being able to write to your Community Folder?

Checked log and traced it to Windows Defender 'Protected folders' blocked the access to %userprofile%\OneDrive\Documents\Pushback Express MSFS. I have whitelisted the FS2Crew pushback express and removed package, re-downloaded with your product manager and installed successfully.

Log shows it is now automatically copying  packages from the Program files (x86) to my community folder

To the Community folder - C:\Users\hudso\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community

Many thanks

So when you downloaded FS2Crew via the Product Manager, the PBE installer download and automatically ran the setup, right?

We're trying to figure out why for some people the new version is downloading via the Product Manager, but it's not triggering the installer.

Yes I used the Product Manager to download both Pushback Express and FBW A32NX and both installers for both application installers ran ok.

That's strange, but glad you got it sorted 🙂

If it should ever happen to anyone else, the EXE he is referring to is located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Pushback Express MSFS\simobjects

Just run the EXE manually if for whatever reason the installer didn't launch it like it should have.
