December 17, 20214 yr I’m using an AMD RX550 4GB, and whenever I update the drivers to a version older then 21.8.2 the sub-windows of XP11 (information messages that show up, loading screens, addon menus, etc.) completely blurry as shown on the pictures! This is really annoying, is there any way to solve this? I7-10700F 32GB RAM Radeon RX550 4GB

Looks like a driver issue not XP, try using newer drivers. Or maybe you are running out of vram, do you mind posting your graphic settings. I've tried multiple versions like 21.10.4 and 21.11.3 and they gave me the same problem. I saw that a new update came out, the 21.12.1, so I will try to update and see if it works. If updating does not work, then try with everything to minimum, OGL instead of Vulkan. I have a gtx1070 and World Objects is set a notch down to what you have, I do not have Draw Shadows on Scenery checked either. You might be asking your video card for too much. December 18, 20214 yr It should work ,had the same issue with the text , two alternate driver updates that had caused that issue , update and I am sure it will be fine. Curious to know what kinda fps are you seeing with that card ? In windows the performance is good but i am seeing a fps drop every time i start XP , always starts at 10fps and sometimes 35-40 , not sure what could be the cause, either it's a plugin or the addon aircraft. In Linux its stable , so not sure if the performance problem is due to the windows AMD drivers or a plugin or the addon aircraft (no addon scenery ) Edited December 18, 20214 yr by Humpty Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
December 18, 20214 yr It's a driver issue, but reverting to OpenGL with AMD GPUs on Windows is a bad idea as the OpenGL driver is really slow. The situation on Linux with Vulkan is not any better, with custom coded PFDs or MFDs or Avitab-driven tablets simply not rendering correctly either. But at least the open source OpenGL driver is fast enough to at least have a sensible fallback. All you can do is continue to bug AMD about it and wait for XP12 which will have a fix for this issue. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days

Thank you for the tips guys. I hope next AMD updates don’t mess it up again. I7-10700F 32GB RAM Radeon RX550 4GB
