Addon Organizer: 2 issues

Featured Replies

Hello;

I'm having two issues that the Addon Organizer has alerted me to and I'm trying to figure out how to fix. I have two pictures of the issue, but, for whatever reason, the insert image from URL isn't working for me.

First issue: On startup of the organizer (version 1.55b10) I get a box stating

Invalid or broken packages (=addon.xml) detected:

...\ActiveSkyP5 Missing add-on.xml

Strongly advised not to continue...

However, my Active Sky is functioning. What should I do to correct this issue?

The next problem AO is showing is a purple entry for FTX_VECTOR_FixedAPT Orbx GLobal openLC North America

The expanded information shows the following

"F:\Orbx Library\p3dv5\Global openLC North America\ORBX\FTX_OLC\FTX_VECTOR_FixedAPT

Active

Addon-Packages <Global openLC North America>

Not Required

Layer 215"

How can I correct this issue?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Missing add-on.xml

Sounds like you may have a broken reference in one of the two add-ons.cfg files (=a package entry pointing nowhere, or the add-on.xml is somehow invalid and can't be read).

Assuming that this is P3D V5, you will find the add-ons.cfg files here:

C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5
C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5

Check if that what P4AO is saying is true. If it is, and there really isn't an add-on.xml for that package, you can just press "Ignore" on the warning dialog and P4AO will remove that package definition next time you save (which doesn't mean that another process might bring it back - "something" definitiely put it there)

That is not really a problem. The scenery is probably just empty.

Thank you for the help!

My apologies for not specifying that I am using P3D v5.

I am pressing "Ignore" but the warning continues to come up. As you said, maybe another process is bringing it back.

Again, thank you for your quick reply and assistance!
