fstools tech - no longer working?

Featured Replies

I have been using fstools.tech for quite awhile now, however it seems to no longer work for the past few days.  Any other users of this have this same issue? (non selectable runway).  Thanks

CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB
MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro |  GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K

Yep - same here. Looking at the HTML, it looks like there are no options for <select>.

Bummer, this was the site I went to for Flex temps, odd that it would just be changed like that.  Thanks though

I've been a PHP coder for many years (though I think this is written primarily in Javascript) and know how easy it is to let one typo destroy a block of code. This could just have been a cut 'n' paste gone wrong!

Sadly, there doesn't appear to be an obvious way of getting in touch with the autor (wuper?).

Guys try this one then. I use it all the time.

will do, one will have to guess on the %MAC at this is not provided on the SimBrief output - but probably close enough.  I also noticed that it will produce a FlexTemp in excess of 60 degrees which I dont think is possible in real life.

Thr %mac is given on the weights page so you can use this.

No within the FBW weights page. Also page 2 of the init page of mcdu you can click the key to input the weight and mac to auto complete.

Aaah ... right .. I think I see the problem. You need to input the ICAO (I also put in NZAA, BTW!!) then you have to *wait* a short while - and the runways drop down gets populated. A handy little tool indeed!

Yes, great I see that.  I guess it went down for a few days (weeks).  Thanks

Not sure what you mean by the 'FBW weights page' - this is not on the EFB nor that I could find on the MCDU

'Also page 2 of the init page of mcdu' - I think you are confusing ZFWCG with MAC.  MAC is expressed in percentage, also the ZFWCG is exactly as it says, zero fuel weight.  However what I am looking for is a true MAC or TOWCG for the V speed calcs.
