The only good thing about EDDT was its vicinity to downtown Berlin. Everything else was terrible. I remember one time in December several airplanes were late due to de-icing procedures. I was cramped together with several hundred other passengers in one of the tiny waiting areas behind security check for two hours with only a beverage and snack dispenser.
