January 4, 20224 yr I installed the Bijan winter pack today. Does anyone else have snow everywhere? I am doing ORD-RSW and there has been snow on the ground all the way down to Florida. Is there any work around for that? January 4, 20224 yr That has nothing to do with the Bijan pack. His season packs change the tree vegetation only. Are you using his terrain masks? If so, maybe remove them and try again. I was having some really strange issues with the terrain mask in some areas and had to remove it. The snow cover in the sim is added by MS/Asobo. I actually flew over the snow line coming out of Chicago yesterday and it was very accurate where it started to cut off maybe 50 miles south of KORD according to snow cover maps. Definitely shouldn't have snow in RSW...bizarre! Eric i9-12900k, RTX 5070ti OC, 32GB ddr5 5600 RAM, 2TB 980 Pro SSD, Titan 240RX AIO, Samsung CRG90 49", Win 11

I tried out Weather Force today but I don't think that would have anything to do with it. The only thing i did differently was put the Bijan Winter in the community folder and removed fall. I have 3D trees in there too. January 4, 20224 yr You would have had to place the terrain mask folder in your Community folder along with the other files. It's very possible WF was the culprit. I have heard of persistent snow on the ground being one of the many bugs of the program. If it was snowing in Chicago, it's likely the snow never went away. Try using default Live WX since it is working again and you will have proper snow cover. Eric i9-12900k, RTX 5070ti OC, 32GB ddr5 5600 RAM, 2TB 980 Pro SSD, Titan 240RX AIO, Samsung CRG90 49", Win 11

I'll check this out I fired it up and loaded south Florida again, with and without Rex and there was no snow on the ground. So strange. Do you know if Rex can be shut off and switched to MS Live weather mid flight, then go back to Rex if I want? Maybe that would resolve it if it happens again.
