Have to press ctl+shft+P to start pushback

Recommended Posts

After he says "Starting pushback" he just sits there until I press ctl+shft+P. Is that right?

Hey John,

No, it should pushback right away, but maybe the parking brakes are set?....Are you using Buttons mode or Distance mode?..And which airplane are you using?

Cheers,

Manuel

Using the CRJ900. Parking brake released. Chocks removed. Using button mode. Not distance.

Please try with a different CRJ model as a test, as well as a different aircraft.  Maybe Aerosoft changed the name of the custom LVAR used to detect the parking brake.

Happens with the 550 and the 900. I will try the A320.

LVAR for parking break I am using for my saitek panels is ASCRJ_PARK_BRAKE (LVAR) which seems to work.

You could be running an old WASM module.

Please manually delete the FS2Crew folders located in your "Community" folder.

Then re-install FS2Crew Pushback Express via the Product Manager.

Then delete your Pushback express folder located in your Program Files X86 folder.

This will ensure your setup is clean.

I'm also wondering if your Saitek is causing a problem with the LVAR.  Are you using SPAD next or anything?

John,

After releasing the parking on the CRJ, can you visually confirm that the parking brake was actually released (lower pedestal)?

I had this issue early on due to another binding on my keyboard for the parking brake that keeping it set on.

What happens if you use the mouse and cursor to release?

You mentioned that chocks were removed.  Visual confirmation from camera view outside?

Hi Bryan,

Yes using Spad.Next. I am now back to the sim and have updated all the FS2Crew products. I am also now using the SU8 beta of MSFS. When I launch PBE, the voice control is not working and the little microphone icon at the top of the window has a red line through it as though the mic is muted or not connected.
