January 7, 20224 yr Updated to the release that dropped today and all appeared to be fine except I am mucking around with a few things to get my frame rate up as I added two touchscreen monitors today. I dropped from 35fps to 25fps (as expected). I have watched various YT videos and tried various settings in NVIDIA (basically let FS handle most things), no questions there unless you guys have something I should know about (in which case, please do mention it). I am running a 2080 so I know some sacrifices need to be made, thusly, I dropped from Ultra to High. Question - The one thing I picked up from a non-FS related video was to change the resolution in the game and up the render scaling (settings we also have in FS2020). Do you think this will make it worse or better? <quality on one side and fps on another side of the fence> Curious what your thoughts are. Secondly, on one of the game bootups, it sat there (hasn't happened before, to me anyway) and was trying to sync and it couldn't. I checked my network, it was up. I tried it a couple of times and gave up and chose offline. I don't recall if my gamertag on top right was missing or not but I suppose it wasn't. It went through the whole setup as if I was a brand new user and to my shock all my bindings were gone <I have a Saitek Cessna yoke which I painstakingly setup that I don't want to lose if I can help it>. I QTD and tried again and to my relief, the sync'ing process worked and I was back in business. Question - Is there a practical guide somewhere to save all my settings? I don't want to lose my yoke/controller(s) profiles. Should I be making a copy of my community folder I keep hearing about? Thanks all.

As best I know these settings are saved in the "cloud".. as far as the Community folder, I would suggest using the Addons Linker app to manage your addons, that way there will be little other than links in the Community folder, and no need to back up.
