January 31, 20224 yr Good morning after i had to re-install my FSX simulator I do face following issues with the LevelD 767 and CS 777 (no such an issue with QW 787 and PMDG aircrafts) The indicated airspeed between knots and mach does not correspond with increasing the altitude. E.G Flight level 31000 i have mach .83 but knots are showing 488 As it worked correct before new istallation i have no idea where the issue is. Any idear or any same issues. I tried to get answer from CS-Support Forum but no answer Any support to solve this issue would be very much appreciated thanks werner
January 31, 20224 yr Administrators I don't understand! How do you think the numbers should look? When you increase altitude and flying at MACH, your KIAS will decrease. It's ground speed that counts! Charlie AronAVSIM Board of Directors-ADMIN/Moderator-RegistrarJust going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

GS gets you there! 5 hours ago, panam said: The indicated airspeed between knots and mach does not correspond with increasing the altitude. January 31, 20224 yr Administrators I would bet that 488 KIAS would keep you in the air! January 31, 20224 yr The whole question doesn't have enough information. Altitude, Temperature etc. 488knts GS or ias? 488ias is excessive high ias. 11 minutes ago, charliearon said: I would bet that 488 KIAS would keep you in the air! Not necessarily. Depending on upper level winds. IAS is everything.
