Looking for a smooth freefare soundset for fsx default aircraft

Featured Replies

I mainly fly repaints of the default 737-800, but the default sound is awful. I am looking for a smooth jetliner sound, even if it's a 747 soundset, I don't care. I don't want those loud, vacuum funnelled sound of the engines.Any suggestions?

I don't know if FSX sound developers require SP1 to do do whatever they need to do, but I'm sure FSX sound packs will be coming through the door in no time thereafter.

Check out this guy's AWESOME sound files: Christoffer PetersenSearch his name here and you'll get a ton of different aircraft sounds, fantastic! I have most of his!

Turbine sound studios has a freeware CFM56 soundset for the Airbus A318..321. It's great on the 737's.Go to full throttle, wait a couple seconds, and the howl/drone fades in nicely. These guys got it PERFECT.

This is what you are looking for:ftp://library.avsim.net/civil_flight/msfs...l_version_2.zipSome of his files have to much "turbine whine" for my taste, as I like a thundering rumble, but I bet you would like it. Its a 34MB download. I do like his sound file for the B-52 though.
