May 14, 200719 yr I don't think anyone has modeled one with a left turn blinker stuck in the on position :-)But if you like flying old planes - Sim OutHouse is going to be recreating the London to Melbourne Race in July - aircraft must have been in regular production use as of Jan 1, 1938 - except of course the prototypes used in the real race can be used.http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=42510
May 15, 200719 yr Try the Piper J-3 Cub Classic. For extra kicks, fly the Midwest Fly-In mission. There's an old geezer co-pilot who always complains about his cranky wife. You two should hit it off well.Just stay away from his sheep.;)
May 15, 200719 yr This is a modernized version of the Pietenpol Aircamper originally built in the late 1920's. The Pietenpol is considered by many to be the original homebuilt plane! Shown in front of Bernard Pietenpol's hanger at the EAA Museum at Whittman Field in Oshkosh, WII'm still working on it, but it's close to being done :-) Robert Best Regards,Robert Kerr 3D Modeler & Texture Artist
May 16, 200719 yr Author Search here and at Flightsim.com for Stuart Green. He's got some amazing releases for WWI fighters. They work fine in FSX. Also look for Robert Sanderson's Stearman over at Simviation.com. It's incredibly detailed. I wish he'd create a 2 seat trainer version of the aircraft.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180 Tom Perry

May 16, 200719 yr Author Thanks for the update Douglas! The new model looks great. I love the erosion on the prop tips.I'm wondering how anybody could complain at all about the original models, much less complain about performance? The originals ran just fine on my 1.86 MHz Pentium M laptop with 64 MB ATI X300 graphics.Thank you so much for continuing this work, this is one of my favorite airplanes to fly in FS, and it works just fine for me in FSX, though most of my flying there is on an E6600/8800 rig. But I just reloaded FSX on my laptop (my disk went south). I'll let you know how performance is there when I get it up and running.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180 Tom Perry
