February 2, 20224 yr Hello everyone, everything good? I want to move MSFS to another SSD and I would like to know if I can save my joystick, hotkeys and camera settings to use in the new installation, without having to configure everything again. If possible, could someone tell me how? Thanks!

If possible, could someone tell me how? Thanks! When I recently moved to a whole new system I was very relieved to find that all my controller settings had been saved without me having to do anything. My previous system had crashed and I never got it back again so everything must have been saved in the cloud by default.
February 2, 20224 yr All your settings are saved under your Xbox profile on the cloud, so you do not have to worry about losing them in a reinstallation. System: I ASRock X670E | AMD 7800X3D | 64Gb DDR5 6000 | RTX 4090 | 2TB NVMe | Seasonic Vertex 1000W I LG Ultra Gear 34 UW I
February 2, 20224 yr I had to reinstall MSFS after last update and I lost all custom views in every airvraft but settings were still untouched.
February 2, 20224 yr While it is true that a lot of settings are saved to the "cloud", not all of them are. If you are simply moving the main installation to a new drive, then don't worry about it. The non-cloud settings are saved in AppData (specifically, "%appdata%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\") and will be used after moving the main data to the new drive. If you are moving to a new computer, it is best to let the sim create new settings, in particular the UserCfg.opt file which contains mostly graphics settings which will no doubt be different with new hardware. However, if you wish to keep your custom camera settings, then copy this folder from the old PC to the new PC: "%appdata%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimObjects\Airplanes\". This would also be the folder to backup in case you need to reinstall completely from scratch. ...jim ASUS Prime Z790-E, Intel i9 13900K, 32Gb DDR5 Ram, Nvidia 3090 24Gb, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500 GB and 1 TB, Samsung Odyssey G9 Ultrawide 49" G-SYNC Monitor.
