That Varjo XR-3 headset is a lot more appealing than a traditional VR headset.
The ability to have mixed reality -seeing the cockpit controls / hardware interlaced with the flight sim environment- gives a level of realism that is sorely missing from current VR options, as the real-world controls are hidden by the virtual world.

Personally, I'm still going to wait until VR sets become as unobtrusive as something like Google Glass. With the way things are going, we may get something that meets that description by the end of this decade - fingers crossed!

Wait what? Like seeing your desk with a yoke on it through the headset in VR?
