FBW Tiller Question

Featured Replies

I set up my tiller to be the joystick twist axis on my stick.  For whatever reason, I can turn the tiller to the left fully, but only about less than half way right.  What could be the cause of this?  Thanks!

Did you map it to the #4 Mixture axis? Maybe your default mixture control/axis is over-riding it <?>.

I have mine set up in FSUIPC - but I think I also had to reverse the axis (either in MSFS of FSUIPC calibration).

Yes. This is what I did.  I’m not using FSUIPC though.  I used to in P3d but not in MSFS

Do you have a generic mixture axis set anywhere - on your HOTAS and/or in MSFS?

BTW - Is this in the DEV or Experimental FBW (I only use the DEV)?

I don’t think so.  Would I just need to go into control settings and check all of the different devices that might have that set?

Do a search for anything related to mixture - for keyboard and axes. What kind of stick/yoke/HOTAS are you using?

Keep in mind that the T16000 has an unreliable twist axis after a couple months of use - I've had it happen to me personally with both the base T16000 and TCA sidestick, ended up getting a Gladiator NXT instead.

Please do not contact me via DM for support or help with the A32NX mod. We recommend using our help channel on our Discord.

I'd strongly suggest installing the free FSUIPC. You could then check to see what the inputs/outputs are for that axis. It's also possible that it makes a better job of mapping axes. If you're mapping it via FSUIPC, though, don't forget to remove the bind from your MSFS profile. I created a separate MSFS profile to use excusively for the A32NX.
