Oculus Quest 2 Help No Headset detected

Featured Replies

Borrowed one for a few days,  installed the OpenXR and it worked fine.    However switched back to 2D mode and now when click switch to VR says Error no headset detected.  Have rebooted several times,  the Oculus app says its connected.

Any ideas out there? Driving me insane!  Connected by a cable and linked to wi fi,  said no to the allow data question

I don't know about open XR, I use the Oculus link app. With that, I get the same message as you if

(i) The Quest 2 is out of battery power

(ii) MSFS is started before I connect the Quest 2 and wear it. The headset seems to be woken up by putting it on your head, so try to do that first.

Thank you for trying to assist.  I hate PCs more and more as I get older. Plug and play ? Yeah right

Sorted.  There was a setting in the Oculus , wearing the headset I went into the settings and it had switched off using the  link cable.  I never touched that setting, Honest !
