FSL Spotlights and the QW787.

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Looking for a little help or assistance.I have been flying the QW 787 since FSX days up until P3Dv5.But the total darkness of the cockpit even in daylight hours is totally unflyable for me.

I was wondering if anyone has presets from FSL Spotlights(i did find one on their forums but it made little difference) that they would be willing to share with me or even make me a preset,i would be willing to pay or make a donation towards AVSIM.

I have tried myself to lighten the cockpit with FSL Spotlights but im not that good at anything like that, again any help would be greatly appreciated.

With Thanks

Can't help with Spotlights, however, have you tried this shader mod created by BiologicalNanbot?

Make a copy of the file first, then using Notepad or other text editor program, copy and paste over the entire text in the HDR.hlsl file.

Go to %localappdata%/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D v5 and delete the folder called shaders.

Should be a lot brighter now in the QW787 cockpit.

Thanks for that, much appreciated but seems a little technical for me,i would probably do some serious damage to my P3D.Plus i cant really work FSL Spotlights out.

Thanks again

Gary.

This is copying and pasting into a text file, then placing it in a folder. Refilling your car's gas tank is more complicated.
