Chatter walking over ATC?

Featured Replies

I'm using the standalone demo for MSFS -  Is it normal for the chatter to sound simultaneously while I'm interacting with MSFS ATC?  I'm missing ATC transmissions. Great program BTW!

Yes it is. I have a request into Asobo to open an API so FS-ATC-Chatter can know when MSFS ATC is talking so it can pause the chatter. I have no idea when or if they will get to that request.

You can get around this little annoyance by creating a PTT button.  Assign the MSFS ATC to a button on the yoke and then also assign the same button to stop FS-ATC, then when you pop up the MS ATC menu, the Chatter ATC will stop and then start again once you press the PTT button to exit MS ATC.

Thanks for sharing. That is a clever work-around.
