February 23, 20224 yr Just updated (from Just Flight) the Hawk T1 to version 0.1.5. Without changing anything else, the plane is doing a couple of weird things - namely:- 1) I can no longer keep the plane on the runway when taking off. The rudder deflects as normal but the aircraft veers off to the left 2) The throttle keeps cutting in and out. I have it bound to the plane via FSUIPC - it works fine on all other planes - but the throttle movement is no longer happening and hence no increase or decrease in thrust as required. Has anyone else experienced this? - or have I missed something with the update? George Westwell
February 23, 20224 yr I agree that it is now very difficult to keep it in a straight line on the runway. The throttle is fine on mine but I had remapped it after an MSFS update last December which meant you had to change 'Throttle Axis' to 'Throttle 1 Axis'. The patch didn't break that for me. I don't use FSUIPC.
February 23, 20224 yr Author Thanks 6297J (name sounds like the prisoner from Les Mis !!!). So, I changed the throttle binding from FSUIPC to MSFS and ensured that it was bound to Throttle 1 axis. That worked better, but is still causing me problems. The animated throttle moves forward to full thrust - then jumps back to idle - and to restore it, I have to move my throttle backwards and then forwards again, and on the second attempt it holds its position. Not seen any other comments re the T1 Hawk throttle or ground steering that I am experiencing. George Westwell
February 23, 20224 yr Author No - I do not have the SU8 beta installed - have made no changes to my system or configuration other than download and install the 0.1.5 update for the hawk George Westwell
February 23, 20224 yr Just done a quick test flight. Required a bit of left rudder prior to rotating but throttle worked perfectly so that side is fine here. Yesterday's update on full MSFS release, not SU8 beta. Edited February 23, 20224 yr by Donka Ryzen 9800X3D, RTX 5090, 64GB, Win 11. MSFS2020. Moza, MFG, Fulcrum & Virpil controllers. Quest 3 for VR.
