February 26, 20224 yr Hello everyone. I tried to make a flight with A330-300 from Seoul to San Francisco. Take off was pretty normal and smooth. But when i engaged the autopilot, the aircraft failed to keep managed climb or the vertical speed that i set. In the outside view, i saw the elevator is moving up and down so rapidly. It started to happen after i installed DC-8 and i am suspecting from xmltools. I am not using any external weather engines and in default weather, i set the winds and turbulence to zero at all levels. If i uninstall and reinstall, will it fix my problem or is there any other ways?
February 26, 20224 yr If your fps are too low (typically below 18), the plane behaviour becomes completely erratic. Patrice Dubois
February 26, 20224 yr Author How can i see my fps? Actually animations flow smoothly without any delays and until i engage the autopilot, the plane's behaviour was normal. If the problem is fps, if i decrease the graphics settings will it work? If yes how can i do that?
February 26, 20224 yr You can easily check the instant FPS by pressing SHIFT-Z until it appears on the top left section of the screen. As for the aircraft, although it is a pretty simple simulation of an A330, it is surprisingly reliable and works mostly as expected, so there is indeed something interfering with it. Try reinstalling it, maybe it solves whatever issues you're facing?
