Aviaserver 16.0.0 inhibits joystick controls (FSLabs)

Hi,

I've been using aviaserver/flight monitor for months not and updated to the latest version today when I found out that while aviaserver is running, my joystick inputs won't "reach" the sim (I'm using the FSLabs A320-X). Aileron and Elevator controls are completely dead, it's only when I close aviaserver, they are working again.

Any advice?

Hi Stu,

version 16.1 was just released which rectifies this problem.

It was caused by aviaFlyByWire that didn't handle certain addon aircraft - but that should be fixed now.

Interesting, as a couple of days ago I flew the Carenado MSFS Mooney and flight controls were dead when I enabled FBW. I'll try the new version and see if it works now.

I just launched the server and it updated to 16.0.0.0, not 16.1.

You need to run aviaServer twice for it to update:

1) During the first run, it will download the new version in the background.

2) During the subsequent run, it will detect the new file from above and update itself. This way users with slow internet connections don't need to wait for the download to complete before being able to use aviaServer.
