Can´t remove assignments P3D

Recommended Posts

I already have an assignment, gear up down, to buttons 11 and 12 on my Honeycomb Alpha joystick but I want to remove it. It cannot be removed. Neither the command "Remove assignment" eller " Do nothing" fungerar. Buttons 11 and 12 still control gear up and down. The Aircraft is A2A Bonanza and I use the Bonanza module.

Are the assignments you are trying to remove coloured green? If so, this means that they have been assigned to the FSX Default aircraft selection. These would then apply to all aircraft as a common function. You should be able to un-assign them by selecting FSX Default. Alternatively, you should assign No Action (or similar) to the buttons you want to remove or assign a different more appropriate function to the buttons for the Bonanza.

The assignments are colored red, what does that mean?

Andrew, none of what you suggested works. It doesn't seem to be removable. If I add another function the original one remains and the button performs both. Is it possible to edit any file?

Please send me the config-hid.lua files for the FSX Default and aircraft you are trying to change. These are in /linda-cfg/aircrafts/{aircraft name}/. Can you take some screenshot of the Joystick page showing what you are seeing and how you are trying to change the assignments? Email to linda @ awginfosys.net.

Finally I got it to work. I chose a default aircraft in LINDA I removed all connections to buttons. Thank you for your time!
