March 25, 20224 yr I'm not sure if P2A does this in other sims, but currently P2A ignores taxiing aircraft on the ground. I am using AIG Traffic, and I get warnings once I am in the air, but P2A instantly gives me takeoff clearance even if traffic is on the runway, and never warns me to hold short on busy taxiways either. Would be awesome if this was implemented for MSFS users. Thanks for reading dave!
March 25, 20224 yr Commercial Member P2A does hold for Runway traffic, although there are enhancements in the Public Beta to make that better. It does not monitor traffic on taxiways. If it held you short until a taxiway was clear, then you would likely never get onto or across the taxiway. The Traffic Engine, whether the SIM or 3rd party, should have Taxiing traffic yield to your aircraft, but most don't. Dave
