It was a big week at FS2Crew!

1. MSFS Aerosoft CRJ:  It was released a week ago, and it has been very well received.  Thank you for your support!

A few bugs were discovered post release (as is the case with any complex software) and we fixed them.

Please update your FS2Crew Aerosoft CRJ MSFS product via the FS2Crew Product Manager:  https://fs2crew.com/downloads/

FYI, we have another smaller CRJ update coming out soon as well.

2. FS2Crew for the FBW A32NX:  We just released a fresh new update a few minutes ago.  Again, please use the FS2Crew Product Manager to update.

3. MSFS RAAS and PBE have also been updated.

If you haven't joined our Discord Chanel, please do so.  Most of the action in the community seems to have gravitated over to Discord.  I guess forums are so 90's 🙂

Our Discord channel is much more active than our Avsim support forum.

Important note - if MSFS crashes on startup.

We've been getting reports of MSFS crashing on start up -and we get blamed 😉

If the crash happens when MSFS starts loading, it's likely you have corruption on your EXE.xml file.

The EXE.xml file controls which programs autostart when MSFS loads.

Should there be an invalid character on your EXE.xml file, things will not load properly, and MSFS could crash.

A lot of 3rd party developers are now writing to the EXE.xml, and it's easy for the EXE.xml to become corrupt.

Please do this:

1. Make a backup copy of your EXE.xml
2. Delete your EXE.xml file.
3. Re-install FS2Crew.

FS2Crew will create a fresh, new EXE.xml file that we know is perfect.

Your EXE.xml file is located here:

MS Store Version:

YOUR USER NAME -> AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\exe.xml

Steam Version

YOUR USER NAME ->AppData/Roaming/Microsoft Flight Simulator
