May 21, 200719 yr Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't my post-sp1 fsx.cfg file have new entries? After looking closely, I don't find the entries that Phil talks about in his blog. I guess that means I'm not seeing the full effects of the update and that I need to resort to the clean install method. Am I thinking correctly on this?
May 21, 200719 yr hey that's what I thought too, but no, apparently it doesn't touch the CFG file....And all your slider settings will remain the same before and after the patchThose entries in the blog have to be inputed manually. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

It changed my SHADER_CACHE_PRIMED=1 setting to SHADER_CACHE_PRIMED=1693428480. Don't know why, or why such a weird value. That's a setting I never touched!! No negative effects though, that I can tell!! Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
