No new cfg

Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't my post-sp1 fsx.cfg file have new entries? After looking closely, I don't find the entries that Phil talks about in his blog. I guess that means I'm not seeing the full effects of the update and that I need to resort to the clean install method. Am I thinking correctly on this?

hey that's what I thought too, but no, apparently it doesn't touch the CFG file....And all your slider settings will remain the same before and after the patchThose entries in the blog have to be inputed manually.

Oh, okay. Thanks for saving me time doing a re-install when I can be flying instead.

It changed my SHADER_CACHE_PRIMED=1 setting to SHADER_CACHE_PRIMED=1693428480. Don't know why, or why such a weird value. That's a setting I never touched!! No negative effects though, that I can tell!!

Thanks

Tom
