I don't know of a way to adjust it, but I think you are right about the idea that your eyes adjust to the light and that is what they are going for there.

It's really poorly implemented--as in overdone. There is a setting in UserCfg.opt called EyeAdaptation, but enabling or disabling doesn't seem to do anything meaningful. I haven't tried a number greater than '1'. which I presumed meant, turns the effect on. NVidia filters can help some, but this is an area everyone hopes is improved in sim, I'm sure. {PostProcess Enabled 1 EyeAdaptation 1 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< ColorGrading 1 Sharpen 1 Fringe 1 LensDistortion 0 Dirt 1 LensFlare 1 FilmGrain 0 Vignette 1 LensBlurMultiplier 1.000000 FringeMultiplier 1.000000 Edited March 31, 20224 yr by Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync.
