Importing P3D/FSX keyboard shortcuts to MSFS

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Anyone know, or had any luck in importing their P3D/FSX keyboard commands to MSFS? Or is it just better to learn the new shortcuts? "P" for pause, "S" to cycle view and "CTRL+." to release the parking brake for example.

I know they can all be changed in the menu, but if there is another way or someone has the profile already made it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you again!

Anyone? 🤭

MSFS has "Active Pause" but that's not quite the same thing as "Pause".  A true "Pause" in MSFS is ESC which takes you to the menu screen.

Not sure if there is any Cycle view.

I use a logitech gamepad velcro'ed to my yoke, which I use for views.  I then go into the sim and define the views I want using the default CTRL+ALT+0, CTRL+ALT+1, etc. (CTRL+ALT+number is how you save a custom view).  Then in MSFS "Controls" menu I set up the Logitech pad buttons and directional to the "Load Custom Camera View" command....zero thru how ever many numbers I've set.   MSFS view controls are very, very odd to me but once you get the hang of it, it does work.

you can change them to how you like it, create a new empty profile and fill it all in.
