I have done a complete reformat of my drive and reinstalled W7 64bit and installed FSX and other addons.

I went to get MCE from my simMarket App and download a New.MCE version (this was an option to the existing when I purchased I think)

 Downloaded everything went fine until I started it up with FSX an ran MCE, It says the the demo has finished and I need to validate my registration- Licence Key

So, I copy my code details to the Registration file inside MCE with note pad, then click the Validate.exe, which brings up another box saying it cannot access my email program.

I use Gmail, and I checked Program Access, but I don't understand how to change as there is no options to change. If I cannot email what do I do.

I really need some help here. Thanks

If you only formatted hard drive and installed ANY Windows version, putting the "License.key" file back in \Multi Crew Experience\ installation folder would get your copy activated, without the need to get in touch.

. If you forgot to back it up, just send an e-mail and we'll send it to you.

There was an issue with the Demo recently and we have reset it a few days ago. Simmarket doesn't have the updated one.

Download this package and it should give you 3 days or 30 runs whichever expires first

Just a reminder everyone, with MSFS, do NOT start MCE until the aircraft has finished loading, on tarmac (in any state) and ready to go.

I couldn’t get to backup the drive unfortunately.

I did email a few days ago with the attached registration file, but had no reply hence creating an account here and posting.

Il will uninstall and download the latest version as you suggest.

removed the word 'zip' from the link. Worked fine.

The file to download is "mce.zip"

Tested and it's downloading. Your browser may have objected because it contains a "setup.exe" file

The files are digitally signed anyway. Eventually copy the download line and paste it to your browser.

Pease re-send and most importantly, include your unique serial number obtained on purchase.

I can confirm latest mail was received and key sent yesterday.

It does look like you are having issues downloading zip files, or security system set to reject them

It was the same machine ID from 2016 and could have re-activated your copy by putting old key in installation folder.

Will re-send e-mail with a link for download instead of attachment.

I have placed it in there, but cannot see in the client that it has indeed registered.

Nothing else to do. Only need to have a valid license for machine ID sitting inside installation folder for Demo to activate.

An indication it is registered, the info regarding days and runs left no longer shows in <About> tab of the UI. Nor does the <Copy> button (for machine ID) appear.

Besides, try removing it after the trial expires and even though the UI will still appear, hear what the FO says when you order him to do something.

So i just downloaded MCE for MSFS 2020 and when i asked co pilot for ground services he asked for a license. I did follow the prompt and as per instructions i sent an email to MCE at

[email protected] and i have been waiting for past hour for response. I am not sure how long am i suppose to be waiting for the license. I would appreciate if anyone could let me know how long does it take for them to validate the system ID?  Also it says in their documents that once the aircraft is loaded then and then only to launch MEC so what's the point of having it if can't use it for flight prep checklist and other services. 

Have you looked in your spam folder? Maybe yours didn't arrive either, so it can't hurt to send an other 1.

 

You CAN use it with prep. I think what's meant with" loaded" is the state you wanted your aircraft to be in, let it settled down and then start MCE.
