Gerald, i mean when flying and traffic comes near to you, you'll get from atc a: callsign traffic at xxx o'clock, xxx miles, heading xxx. My copilot used to respond then with : roger, traffic in side or something similiar. This is not happening after v2926 anymore. Best regards

With pf3 the traffic information is not being rogered. In the pmdg NGXu the "set takeoff flaps" command (in voxscript) is not being recognized. PMDG T7 is working, PMDG 747 not tested) Used to work in 2926. I'm now on v2940, p3dv4.5 Best regards

'"FO can take over atc when busy" did it. Thnx Gerald. For the other problem i had was that somehow after updating pf3 to the latest version, all my hotkeys were resetted back to the old ones. So MCE couldn't send the right key (control+shift+?) Best regards

Hi Rob, Thnx for your reply. Closed captions is unchecked. (does that mean i'm using the pf3 logfile method?). My cp mode is set to zero. Tried another flight. Still the same. First i said "my comms.". Fo ack. it. Then i ask for atc clearance, pf3 gave it and....before i had the chance my fo ack. again. No "read back correct", though fo switches to ground. Ask for pushback clearance (was also visible in red line), fo request atc clearance again, but pf3 gave pushback clearance. Best regards John

Hello all, i run into i few problems. Maybe they're related to each other. What i've understood is that fo deals with comms by default! So when i say my comms, he shouldn't respond to pf3 when I ask for atc clearance. But he does, rightaway before i had the chance to ack it, though i've pressed the ptt button!!! (it's also the only time he's quick responding. In flight it took ages!!!). When he's reponding the atc clearance, he's reading the whole stuff back en somehow i don't get a "read back correct" respond. Due to all this i think when i ask fo for the push clearance, fo request atc clearance again. Though he did change freq and pf3 responded correctly. Can all this be that my pf3 tgs is not working any more? Another thing is the runway change. MCE is trying to disable tgs and then nothing happened. Mostly i had to restart MCE Best regards

Hello Jonnie, you didn't say where you put the fsinsider.dll in fs9 manually nor the received suggestions!! So here's how i run it with fs9 In fs9 you'll have to put the fsinsider.dll into the modules folder (fsx is main folder). Further i've both fs9 and fsx outside the programs folder installed!!! Running with UAC off (lowest point). Also run ALL programs as admin. Exclude AV to scan fsx/fs9 folders. Hope 1 of these can/will help you out. Best regards

Hello, In MCE have you chosen the right atc program? If not then start MCE, go to atc tab and choose their and restart MCE. I'm using PF3 now. Clearance: Clearance delivery, callsign, request ifr clearance to e.g. echo hotel alpha mike with information x Pushback: Ground, callsign, request push and start (clearance) Taxi: Ground, callsign, ready to taxi Takeoff: Tower, callsign, runway x, ready for takeoff. For clear of the active rwy you can use: ground, callsign, request taxi to gate. If you use PF3 i also recommend to use mode 2 to start with, then mode 1 and at last mode 0, so you'll get familiar with the ack. Hope this will get you going. Best regards

Hi Matt, if the readback is correct the controller will say "readback correct, contact ground on xxx.xx when ready for push and start". After your done your push and start,you can say "ground, callsign ready to taxi" and you'll get a standby or taxi instruction. Ack with "taxi to runway xx, callsign" When in the air, when your ack is recognized, you'll hear "(roger), callsign" . I haven't tried that position report yet, (flying most heavies in europe) as i'm trying to get PF3 working better. But like Gerald said. With RC4 commands i'm coming a big step further. :smile: Best regards

Hi Matt, i was in the same posion as you are now. The way i started to learn is with PF3 in vc mode 2. To learn the commands. Now i'm in vc 1 mode. PF3 is alot off "roger" thing which is driving me crazy sometimes. I'm only flying IFR so for takeoff i use : "tower "callsign" runway xx, ready for departure" For the readback you have to say: "roger, callsign, is cleared to echo hotel alpha mike, squawk xxxx. Maybe you can try this. :smile: At the moment i ran into 2 problems: lost of commands (due to me transmitting and controller/pilot is talking thru it and commands gets not recognized anymore!!! ) And hotkey 5 (cleared of the active runway) Best regards

You're saying you're runnng v2667. You must download the patch so you versie will ben v2670. If I remember correctly you'll have to copy those mce.dll files into your fsx (mce)folder andere the other into your main mce folder. Best regards

@Mike. Too bad RCv5 is out of development. Will keep trying MCE with PF3 :smile:. I'll wait for the patch too. Not only the enhanced phraseology, but also the taxi instructions and 119 voices :wink: . That's 1 of the reasons i lost interest in ProAtcx. @Paul. Sometimes it's here on the forum. But most on their website. I check that on a regular base. :wink:

Can't tell Andre. Never bought ProAtc. RC4 is great. Have used it since 2008 (i believe). RC4 with MCE is excellent. No problems Since 3 weeks i have PF3. It's hard to get these 2 programs to understand together . (So if i want a good flight, i'm still using RC4 .) But someday..... If you going to buy RC4 then search in the avsim library for meatwater voice pack v2 :wink:

hi Rob, you're much futher then me with PF3 and MCE :smile: . Already got stuck with the readback. (Never got it) Also trying to find the sentences to say. (see on kneeboard what AI is saying but not mine!!!) For tower (after approach) , have you tried "tower 'callsign' (is) established runway x"? For go around (with RC4) was " is miss approach runway x". Maybe that will work with PF3 as well :wink: Best regards

Hi Rob, you can start your plane in any condition you like. You can alter or create flows to your own needs :smile: . 2 ways to do it. 1 Via the gui, you can create and test it rightaway. 2 Copy 1 to your desktop and change it to your needs, place (or rename it) it back and then test it.
