Meant to ask this for ages and not sure if a bug or user setting?

I am always given a new altitude to climb to even before I have commenced my takeoff roll? Basically as I ask for takeoff tower assigns a FL?

Any advice gratefully received, TIA 😉

You get a clearance altitude in your clearance from Clearance Delivery.

Tower will give you a "maintain runway heading.." altitude before you turn to on course.

You may get a "climb and maintain xxx" before you get switched to Departure control, but if this happens on every flight, try lowering your Tower Radius setting.

Just to note I have never had Tower transmit 'maintain runway heading' when lining up ????

You normally won't get that if you're departing with a SID.
