April 15, 20224 yr Hi, is the database for MSFS old or is Simbrief old...for example Simbrief was telling that landing in Sacramento I would expect runway 16R, yet when in the FBW there was choices of 17L or 17R no 16 runways. I have also noticed this at many other airports where runway numbers were off. April 15, 20224 yr Simbrief is free to use, but by default it uses a navigation database from March of 2020. (2003) If you want to use the most current navigation database (2203) you have to be a Navigraph subscriber. I just checked, and KSMF does indeed list the correct runways 17L and 17R with AIRAC cycle 2203. When you launch Simbrief in a web browser, the AIRAC that it is currently using is shown in the upper left-hand corner. If it shows “2003”, that is your problem. April 15, 20224 yr Author Thanks, I just purchased a monthly subscription Edited April 15, 20224 yr by Bill A Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
April 16, 20224 yr Take note that when you end the subscription the latest AIRAC will stay active in SimBrief. So depending on you usage of Navigraph you might not need to maintain that sub year in year out.
