Fs2crew CRJ Flaps and Gear not Set by FO

Featured Replies

Hi Team,

With FS2Crew for the CRJ, the FO responds to my voice commands for flaps and gear but does not actually set them. He also does not set them before taxi. However, he does retract them after landing. I believe this may be due to my hardware, I use an X-56. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Kind Regards.

What's happening is that your hardware is constantly sending a signal every second or thereabouts based on the position of the switch you linked to gear/flaps, etc.

This will naturally override the signal sent by FS2Crew.

You'll need to manually move your switch to match any commands issues to FS2Crew.

Cheers,

Thanks Bryan, out of curiosity, this doesn't happen with FS2Crew for the FBW A320 and I am using the same controls. My setup uses toggle switches with three positions, so its not like a dedicated gear lever which would be in the "down position" for example. It returns to a neutral middle position after pushing down or up so I don't see why it would be sending a signal constantly.

I'm going to test a bit later by creating a new profile for the CRJ, with FS2Crew I don't need the gear and flaps assigned to hardware so that should sort it out.

All the best.

I just tested it out with a new control profile with nothing assigned to the gear or flaps and still the same issue.

Ok so as it turns out, I'm just bad. I just noticed that for some reason I have the disable gear/flap option ticked. So yeah it's working as it should now!
